Since I can remember, persistence, hard work, and maturity all have been qualities that I take pride in possessing. It is because of this that I have excelled in both fields, leaving me with confidence in my abilities for the future, especially with regard to the collegiate level. Above the obvious hope of improving, I want nothing more than to come close with a group of athletes and coaches who are all motivated to work hard and succeed, as well as help one another along the way. Through my first two years at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey, I have gained a strong understanding of what it means to be on a team, and what it means to be an effective part of a loving community. Upon growing and learning from my teammates and coaching staff, I wish to reimburse that and have a positive impact on each and every one who fights with me along the way. The level of devotion and passion I have for both running and helping others coincide very well, making me a great addition for any team or organization that wishes to end up in a better position than it was in before I arrived. In general, I would take advantage of any potential opportunity given to me, making my fellow brother and sister athletes one of my top priorities/concerns, along side my drive for competing, bettering the team as a whole.
