I am part of the graduating class of 2022. My collegiate goal is to get a degree is Real Estate or Business Management. My sport goal is to run the 200m, 400m, Relay and 1600 M. I want to be able to accomplish this goal for not only myself but my cousin who ran in the Olympics. This is a goal for me because he always told me stories of how he accomplished all these obstacles and what winning really means. I believe what makes me a good candidate is that I don't look at anyone different no matter sexuality, language, looks nothing. I believe I am hard working, a team player, determined and a bit competitive. Winning is a good feeling to feel but if someone does win that's doesn't give me the right to talk bad because everyone is different. We all live different lives and go through different things, so if anything I will congratulate them of pushing through with it and encourage them to push harder in practice/training. What makes me different from other recruits is that track became an outlet for me to release a lot of stress and anger from everyday life. My character is unique because I've experienced a lot and I would never want someone to feel how I use to feel. I am proud to say that I came along way and track helped me accomplish that. Being in track help me manage my grades better than before because I was focused only on passing.
