This year I’ve worked harder than I ever have before to make up for two lost Spring Track seasons and it has paid off. I’ve lowered my 55mH time from 8.8 to 8.11 and my 400m has gone from 55.6 to 53.2 in one Winter/Indoor season. I’m a Junior at Ridgewood High School, NJ and I’m just starting my first full Spring Track Season due to COVID (freshman year) and an injury (sophomore year). I’m currently part of a shuttle hurdle relay competing in the invitational division at Arcadia Invitational in Arcadia, CA.
I love running. I look forward to it every day and I want to continue that in college. The high school seasons that I’ve had so far, have been so exciting because my work has paid off. If I could pick an ideal school for me, it would be one that challenges me academically while giving me the ability to run track, having that unique experience of hard work = rewards. I like to see progress and achieve results and I am willing to work very hard for what I want.
