Justin Villamizar '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Justin Villamizar and I am junior at Toms River High School South in Toms River, New Jersey. Ever since I began throwing shot put and discus in the 6th grade, I began to love it instantly. Now, a junior in high school, I still love throwing and even added a new throwing event to my arsenal, Javelin. With this said, I want to continue throwing into my collegiate career and possibly further. I love lifting and always have my ears open to any advice offered to me in order to help me succeed. My goal is to hit 50 feet in shot put, 150 feet in discus, and 150 feet in javelin as well. I possess attributes of a good teammate and leader always wanting to help others succeed as well as being composed in difficult situations. I will be able to handle any type of coaching, from aggressive in my face, to supportive and constructive. I strive to get straight A's in school, achieve my goals, and be able to throw at a high level at the collegiate level.
