As I write a personal statement I find it hard to talk about myself. A big part of my character is defined by how I act, and what I do. What I do, I do because it's the right thing to do, not to tell others or brag. I do this because, when I was in a darker place when I was younger and fell into a bad crowd, someone helped me, not for money, not to gain anything, he did it because it was the right thing to do. I wanted to be like the person, and do the same for as many people as I can. That being said, my personal goals revolve around pushing myself, and others to do better. Trying to help everyone as much as I can. That's why in my spare time I like to volunteer my time at places like packs for hunger. God blessed me with many talents, so whether on the field or off the field. If it's academics or someone needs help fixing their truck, I'm there to help everyone succeed. I’ve many times taken the time to help people get their grades up, taking the time to tutor them on my weekends, going as far as driving to their house. Even little things like fixing their phones and laptops. I have overcome all my challenges, this came more out of necessity, because of Covid. I went from failing most of my classes my Freshman year due to Covid, to being a Senior in AP classes, and Honor Roll.
