My name is Noah Bugayong and I am a senior at Quemado High School in New Mexico. It is a very small town with a lot of mountains and trails to hike and hunt. I started cross country and track and field when I was in 7th grade and quickly realized they were my favorite sports. I started winning junior high races in 8th grade and set a goal to hold our new school record. By the time I was a sophomore I beat the school record with an okay time and eventually ran over a minute faster than the previous record on a very hilly course with a 17:23. Throughout the years I have made a work ethic to be even better than everyone else says I can so I'm constantly trying to improve not only in sports, but academically as well. I really push myself to lead the individuals around me so I can get better and the ones surrounding me can get better as well. I may not be the fastest, but I know I'll strive to be the best I can be academically and athletically not just for me, but for the teammates and peers that surround me as well.
