Ryan Mattimore '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Mattimore, and I hope to become a better and more knowledgeable runner during my collegiate experience. I am an extremely coachable athlete who can adapt to a training plan to be successful. Coming onto the Cross Country team my freshman year, I was one of the slowest men, only scoring and making the varsity team on one meet. However, through hard work and strictly following the training plan of my coach, I became the 1 man on the Cross Country team my sophomore year. My true love for running and the sport drives my training and passion for success. Hard work is very important to me in my academics as well. Throughout my high school career, I have taken many honors and AP classes to challenge myself in the classroom. I look forward to becoming a member of a team that allows me to continue to improve as a runner and a person!
