I began to be interested in playing football at the age of four years old. At the age of five I played flag football. After watching my brother play tackle football I knew that is what I wanted to do. At the age of six years old I started playing tackle football. After the season I was asked to try out for the Sachem Travel Football team which is a very competitive team. The next year at the age of seven I tried out and made the Sachem Travel Football team and became the starting quarterback my whole time there. From the age of ten years old to 13 years old my Sachem team won three out of four Suffolk County Championships. We also traveled to Tennessee to play at the battle of Rocky Top.
I started my High School Career in 8th Grade as the starting JV QB. I was named the starting varsity quarterback as a freshman before the season after competing with a senior for the job during the preseason. As a Freshman starter I made first team all Division and as a sophomore I made First Team All County.
During my early years of playing football, with the help of my coaches and parents, I learned how to become a team player and a leader on and off of the field. I am used to playing in high pressure games while playing Quarterback on Championship football teams and pitching in playoff and championship games on very competitive travel baseball team. I believe my experience so far has helped me personally and academically. I enjoy working with my coaches and teammates to make my high school team the best it can be and I would do the same while in college. I look forward to helping a college football team play at a high level while pursuing my academic carrier.
