I have been running track since 6th grade and have pursued a collegiate career in the sport ever since I realized I have a future within it. Going to college for athletics would be a major incentive to all the hard work I've put in towards this sport.
My times on the track are from later than usual because I suffered an injury (plantar fasciitis) in the 2019 outdoor season, and the pandemic hit during the closing strides of the 2020 indoor season. However, I am still very passionate about my craft and am willing to do all it takes to get better on the track.
I am a very coachable, hard working athlete and I strive to improve and get better everyday. My grades are up to par every school year and I look to maintain or raise my GPA every semester. In college, I look to reach my full potential and excel what I think I am capable of on the track. I would like to push my teammates around me so everyone gets better and overall, have fun and partake in the sport for the love of it. I hope to become an athlete that is remembered for their dedication and work in track & field as well equal if not better performance in the classroom.
