My goal is to perform well and to succeed in everything that I choose to put my mind to. I believe that I will excel in cross country because I will never stop and never quit. I will work hard for the team and my coach(es). I am driven to succeed in cross country as I pursue my college dreams.
What many do not know, and I don't like to share, is that I work harder at school than most because of a learning disability. I don't mention what it is here, because I will never make excuses. I do mention it to show that, even with a learning disability, while taking honors classes, I have worked to maintain a 3.5 unweighted GPA and a 3.71 weighted GPA. You will be hard-pressed to find someone that will outwork me.
