My goal is to run at the highest level I can. Track and field has been my passion since the seventh grade, so every year I strive to improve as much as possible. I'm fully dedicated to this sport and I'm willing to work year-round. In the offseason and preseason, I spend my time on the track and in the weight room, working on my leg strength and agility. In the classroom, I am a diligent worker, who hates seeing any grade lower than an A. My sophomore season I was injured within the first half of the season. My Junior season also was also affected by a bad case of pneumonia that took away the first two weeks of practice. Never the less I worked hard just to get myself back on track and ready for regions and the state meet. Below is a list of accolades:
th Grade: Varsity runner.
th Grade: All-Region in both the 4x100 (3rd place) and 4x400 (3rd place)
th Grade: Region Champion in the 4x100, All-State in the 4x100 (2nd place) and 100m dash (7th place)
th Grade: All-region in both the 100m (2nd place) and 200m dash (3rd place), All-State in both the 100m dash (4th place) and 200m Dash (8th place)
