I picked up Track and Field for fun when I was in seventh grade, and I realized that I might have potential in the sport. I decided to do hurdles in a last minute decision that year, and I wasn't great at it that season, but I loved to do it, so I trained for countless hours at it, and over my grade 8 and freshman years, I improved more and more. This past season, my junior year, I took my training and love for the sport to a whole new level, and it paid off, with a national medal and several provincial records. I love hurdling, and I aspire to continue doing what I love during my university/college years.
