I started running track in seventh grade as a compliment to soccer. However, ever since my sophomore year, I decided to fully commit to track and train with the purpose of running in college. I am a two time states athlete that recently qualified for the OATCCC Indoor State Championships for both the 1600 and 4X800 meter relay. In the latter, we placed third with a school record breaking time of 8:12.10 (2:02.1 split). I am a hard worker and have not stopped running due to the COVID-19 outbreak. When I am not running, I concentrate on my studies and enjoy an academic challenge. As of the end of my junior year, I have taken 6 AP classes, hold a 4.495 cumulative GPA (4.783 junior year), and scored a 35 on the ACT. All in all, I fully commit and dedicate to my priorities and am looking forward to running at the next level.
