Being a collegiate athlete has always been a dream of mine. Nobody in my family has ever competed at the collegiate level so being the first would mean a lot. What makes me stand out from other guys is my hard work and dedication. If you ask any of my coaches to tell you something about me they would say I am a hard worker. Whatever a coach asks me to do I do. For example, late my sophomore year Coach Schank asked if I could run in the 800 two days before a meet. I said "Yes Sir," that meet for my first 800 ever I ran a 2:11. Then at districts, about two weeks after my first 800, I ran a 2:04 split. I was excited to see what my times would be like this junior year because I knew it was going to be my break out year. Unfortunately, COVID-19 did not help that as my junior track season got canceled. In terms of character, I treat everyone with respect. I've played 5 sports in my high school career, and have still managed to keep a GPA of 3.9.
