Greg Beard '24 Recruiting Profile

I am going into my senior year at Centerburg High School. I have been running cross country and track since my 7th Grade year. I consider myself and have been considered by many others as coachable along with a role model for others. At practices along with races, I strive to lift everyone and push everyone to be the best version of themselves, but I also push myself. I dedicate a lot of my time and effort to training, mental readiness, and recovery for my running career. I help to organize group runs over the summer so that I can get as many people on my team to be able to participate and get better. I also am very dedicated to my academics. I have worked hard to keep my grades up and always focus on school before my sports. Along with track and cross country, I also have started to participate in my school's bowling team. I also do a lot of work within my church as I volunteer for a week of third and fourth-grade church camp and am a group leader along with running many different activities that we do at the camp. I also teach many different Sunday school classes at our church ranging from ages 2 and under up to first and second grade. Together I am a dedicated and caring person in many different aspects of my life and care much about others.
