My goal in college is to further my abilities in track and cross country throughout my years in college. This was my first year of cross country and quickly dropped my times throughout the year. In track, I tend to run the 3200, 1600, 800, and 4x800, but the 3200 has been my main event. In meet I ran an 11:53, but over my rigorous training program over the summer and fall, it is now under 11 minutes. I hope also to be able to join the marching band at the university I choose and gain an amazing education to help prepare myself for my future career. I'm always willing to work hard to reach someone's standards; that includes the standards of my coaches. I've held an unweighted 4.0 GPA but have taken many college courses throughout my high school career as well. Outside of school I was a Boy Scout and got to the rank of Eagle which requires a lot of time and effort to achieve. Throughout my time in scouting, I learned many leadership skills and it has dramatically increased my work ethic. I may not be the quickest runner on the team, but I'm always willing to work hard toward a goal.
