Track and field has become apart of my life, it is a therapy to my heart which has never failed me once, ever since I was 13 years old hurdling became apart of me, it was an event I became attached to, running at collegiate level is a constant reoccurring dream that repeats in my head every night, competing at collegiate level is something I would love to do.
I am quick and explosive off the hurdle, running to the next one with aggression and speed in between. Although standing at 5'9 I use Omar Mcleod as motivation, as him himself, being a shorter hurdler, dominates the event with his speed and technique. This represents what I bring to the event, technique and speed can never go wrong in hurdling. I pride myself on taking criticism and performing off of the feedback my coaches have to give me.
Not only do I pride myself on achieving success on the track, but I also pride myself on achieving high averages, and maintaining amazing grades. As I have attained honours in my two years of high school, and am on the way to achieve honours in grade 11 as well. I am very involved with my school's sports programs, as far as helping organizing sports events and teaching others on the track team hurdling techniques for success.
I believe I will be an amazing aspect for a college team and will make sure to maintain my success on the track and in the classroom
