Dear Coach, my name is Zachary Dri, and I am a 2022 graduate who runs Track and Field with a 3.0 Grade Point Average (86% overall average).
My post secondary aspirations are to study Life Sciences and ultimately practice as a Chiropractor while being able to compete in track and field at a varsity level.
Three years ago, I transitioned from rep basketball to track and field and currently run for BOOST Athletics based in Mississauga, Ontario.
Despite COVID restrictions in two of the three years of my running career, my personal commitment to training and determination to succeed has not wavered. With this determination, I have reduced my 400M running times by nearly 6 seconds and currently run 53.79 seconds.
This accomplishment in my mind proves that I am on a positive trajectory and that my celling as a sprinter has yet to be reached.
