Finding the sport of track and field during the second semester of my freshman year in high school was a transformative experience for me. For the first time in sports, I felt a deep sense of joy and fulfillment as I competed and excelled in different locations across the country. It was then that I knew I had found something I truly loved and wanted to pursue at the collegiate level. Since that moment, I have dedicated myself to excelling both in the classroom and the circle, maintaining at least a 4.0 GPA while training relentlessly to push my limits in track and field.
Throughout my two years of highschool, my commitment and passion for track and field have resulted in notable achievements and recognition. In my freshman year I happily received the Most Improved Award in track and field. In my sophomore year, I had the honor of receiving the Junior MVP Award, which validated my hard work, dedication, and improvement in the sport.
What sets me apart as a recruit is not only my academic and athletic accomplishments but also my versatility as a thrower.I compete in shot put, discus, and hammer throw during the outdoor season. As Well as weight throw and indoor shot put in the indoor season. This demonstrates my ability to excel at multiple events and my desire to maximize my contributions to any collegiate team. I am eager to continue competing in all these events at the next level and further refine my skills.
As an up and coming student-athlete, I am eager to bring my dedication, work ethic, and love for track and field to the collegiate level. I am sure that my strive for excellence, along with my ability to balance academic and athletic commitments, make me a valuable addition to any college team. With my commitment to personal growth, resilience in the face of challenges, and passion for the sport, I am prepared to contribute to the success of the team while making a positive impact on and off the track.
