Personal Statement
I have been a part of the Track and Cross Country program at Bloomsburg High School for 3 years now. These sports have taught me to push myself physically and mentally beyond my comfort zone, and that's what I love the most about these sports. As a runner and a student, I am disciplined, self-driven, and persistent. These traits allow me to successfully manage school, band, and three sports. As an athlete, I am coachable; always striving for improvement. This led me to break the school's 12-year-old cross country record this season. As a teammate, I demonstrate leadership with good sportsmanship and integrity. I am looking for a college program that will allow me to see just how far I can go, as an athlete and a student.
