Alex Polenik '25 Recruiting Profile

I developed skill and ability entering my middle school career and have room for continued growth with my skill and ability to progress into the collegiate level some day. I participate in football and basketball which helps to improve my foot work and coordination. My academics are strong and have an excellent work ethic to maintain that level.  During my Middle school season, my personal best in the shot put was 45'6" and the discus was 160'8". At the varsity level  during my freshman season 2022 I won the PIAA District 6 discus throw and competed at the State track and field meet. That year I competed at the USATF Junior Olympics in Sacramento, CA and placed 3rd in the 15-16 year old division with a throw of 154 feet. My sophomore season 2023 I won the PIAA district 6 discus and shot put titles and placed 5th in the discus at the state meet throwing 165' 3"  and 8th in the shot put with 49' 8". At the USATF youth championships I placed 3rd in the discus and 5th in the shot put in the 17-18 year old division.
