As a student athlete, I believe in getting the best of your potential and not believing in limits. With that being said, I hope to attend a college through either an academic scholarship or athletic scholarship. Football was my first love and always will be. I've been playing since I was about 8 and played nearly every position. But when I signed up for track in 7th grade, I found another sport I absolutely love. We didn't have any meets my first year because the Jr. High team was so small, but I still loved practice(for the most part) and helping out at the high school meets. In 8th grade is when I truly enjoyed track for what it is.
I'd prefer attending a school close to home. I believe I have what it takes to be an excellent student because I'd rather spend my time playing football, training and working out, running track, or any other extra-curriculum activities than blatantly looking for trouble. I run track for Columbia High School. I will pursue both a football career and track career throughout my high school experience like I have been, while maintaining good grades because I understand that success in the classroom is just as important, if not more, than success on the field/track. I will do whatever it takes to make it to where I want to be, and even then will I not be satisfied. I strive to be the best me I can be both on the field/track and in the classroom. It's early, but every step counts if you want to be one of the best at the end of the day.
