****Admitted and Committed to the University of Chicago****
Thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Marc Motter, and I am currently a junior (class of 2018) at Central Bucks High School East in Doylestown, PA. I am a middle distance athlete, though I tend to stray towards 800s and Miles over 400s. Academics are very important to me, and academic selectivity is one of the first things I look for in a school. In regards to a major, I am leaning towards something related to Political Science or History while pursuing the Pre-law tract. I hope to move on to law school to obtain a degree in Constitutional Law.
My sophomore year, my team focused mostly on relays which is why some of my open times are on the slower end. This year, while I have also ran a few open events, the majority of my races have been on relays. Here are some of my splits:
-400: 51.5 on 6th Place DMR at PTFCA Championships (2016) and 52.5 lead off on 3:27.64 4x400 (2017)
-800: 1:58.5 lead off on 9th place 4x800 at PIAA Outdoor State Championships (2016)
1:57.2 lead off on the 7th place 4x800 at PTFCA Indoor State Championship (2017)
-1200: 3:16 lead off in a DMR (2017) (on two separate occasions)
-1600: 4:33.0 in a DMR (2017)
Thank you again for looking through my profile, and I hope you will consider me as a prospect for your team and school.
