Noah Taylor '21 Recruiting Profile

I have always been competitive, but I am not sure if it’s truly by nature or nurture as I have an identical twin and that it comes with the territory.   My twin and I have always enjoyed playing sports and we have always played on the same team– baseball, basketball and soccer, but in 7^th grade we each opted to run cross country in the fall rather than play soccer.   It was the year that I understood my success could only come from me and not necessarily from a team dynamic.  It was the year that I found my identity as Noah and not a twin.  My team, and twin, could encourage me, but they could not make me run faster – that I had to accomplish on my own and I did.  I ran in the County Championships the last 3 years and qualified for Districts and States in 2017 as a freshman – the only freshman from my high school to do so that year.  I am sure my competitive nature, with or without my twin, will always be prevalent, but my achievements are solely my own.
