Indoor Track
Doug Wesner Invitational at Kutztown University Ran the 55m (no blocks) in 6.77 good for 8th out of 100. Now it’s time to train hard for the outdoor season. It was a limited season for our school, but with more meets I believe the numbers would have been better.
Ran a 6.88 in the 55m (no blocks) at the Golden Bear HS Invite. That was 11 out of 87. Have another meet next month where i will run the 55 again.
Ran a 200 at the Ursinus High School opener at 24.25. Ran in a USATF event the next day, running the 60 m in 7.39.
Football season is over and now I am turning to track. My younger brother Shane and I are going to try to run indoor events this winter to get some exposure to that. Our school doesn't do indoor as a team so we will sign up for whatever meets we can. We are doing our own workouts to get trained up for the upcoming outdoor season. I want to hit the ground running for my senior year.
Speaking for myself, I am not a super outspoken guy. But don't take that as non-competitive. I am driven to be the best I can be, and prefer to let my hard work do my talking. I have trained year-round for both football and track. I put the time in, and I take coaching well - even hard coaching. I work hard so that coaches who put in time with me feel that it is time well spent. I may not be the most vocal guy, but I enjoy the bonds of a team, and Im laid back enough that I get along with just about everybody. Most of my friends are from my teams over the years.
My track coaches contact info is below, my football coach is below as well.
