Hello!
Thank you for showing interest in me as an athlete. I am a great candidate for your team because I have a work ethic like none other, and I will do whatever it takes to become a better athlete. On Friday, November 3, 2018, I decided I needed to make a change in my life in order to become a better athlete. So I decided to switch to a plant-based diet. I gave up meat, dairy, eggs, and anything else that does not come from a plant. This journey helped me grow as an athlete giving me the ability to drop my times and helping me train at a level I never thought I would be able to. I went from a 5:27 1600 to 4:58. It was hard but this is an example of my determination to get faster and my love for the sport of running.
In school, I have a 3.9GPA while being involved in Track, Cross Country, Student Council, Technology Student Association, National Honors Society, Concert Band, Private music lessons, and working 20 hours a week at my local Dairy Queen.
I know what it means to work hard and am excited to continue doing that while competing in college. I will be honored if you consider me to be a candidate for your team.
