Dear Coach:
My name is Oscar A. Santana Martínez. I am a 5'7" 130lb Track sprinter. During my whole High School/Club Career, I have always ran in the 100m and 200m events. I’ve ran in numerous events, like the Puerto Rico High School Athletic Alliance (PRHSAA), (AAJI) and Federación de Atletismo de Puerto Rico (FAPUR). My career started when I was 14 years old in my high school junior varsity team. My current individual times are 11:20 (100m) and 22:83 (200m). That makes me a Top 6 athlete on my age category in Puerto Rico. Another sport that I compete is in soccer, which is my secondary sport. As a person, I am perserverant and a good leader. I also take very serious my sports and academics. As a student, I am in the National Honor Society and have a 4.00 GPA. My aspirations are to become part of a college that can develop me as an athlete and a successful future professional.
