My name is Ziondre Ogiba and here is a little back story; growing up I've always liked to run, i'd play tag outside with friends and i'd usually never get tagged. I like to win and I like to run. I didn't quite know how much I loved track until I went to middle school, because I was so interested in football at a young age I didn't get into track until the 8th grade my first season is when I knew I loved track. Back in middle school my team was great, we'd usually win and I liked that feeling. Since then and now I've grown so much as a person, and I don't just want track & field to be a high school hobby for me I want it to be so much more and i'm willing to work non stop to be able to run track in college. I want to be the best at what I do and im willing to put in days, weeks, months, and years to achieve my goals. I won't just push myself on the field but in the classroom too, I will try my hardest to become a true student athlete, i'm already taking college classes and will only continue my learning from there. I'd also like to thank my mother, my coaches, and my teammates without them I wouldn't have come this far, thank you to my mother for making this all possible, I don't think I would have even started to run track if it wasn't for her. Thank you to my teammates and coaches for pushing me to not only be a better athlete but to become a better person.
