Track is the one sport I truly love. It's more than just a hobby it's something I love to do. Whether it's putting in time in the offseason or setting new personal records. The most memorable season was my 8th grade year I made it to the county meet, but was 6 tenths off to qualify for state. That just made me more determined and gave me a competitive edge for the next season. It drove me to work harder in the weight room and outside on the track. A year later it paid off, I barely missed state again but my coach chose me as Rookie of The Year. During my my track career I learned that you're gonna have to train yourself on your own time without someone telling you to. You have to be determined to work hard. I also learned how to be a leader. I am grateful for all the lessons I learned and will continue to learn during my track career.
