Jailynn Humphries '20 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was young I have always been one to strive for perfection. Everything I do I try and give 110% of my best especially track. Just recently (August of 2017) I was temporarily paralyzed. This lasted for 6-7 months and over that span I never gave up. Each month I got better and more healthy and, thank God for this miracle, I defied the doctors and walked. Time flew by and I started to run. I reached that goal because I never gave up. And that’s my strong point and that is what makes me different. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to finish my strongest, that’s how I made it through.

Not only do I have dedication towards athletics, I’m also very well off in academics as well. Sitting 4th in my class with a cumulative GPA of 3.75. I have a huge interest in the medical field and have put forth effort to gaining as much knowledge needed to obtain this goal.
