I am a Senior at Franklin High School in El Paso, Texas. I have had a successful Cross Country season so far. My personal best time of 15:01 was run at the Southlake Carroll Invitational. Last week I made 1st Team All District UIL 6A and placed 1st at our District Cross Country meet. Presently, I am preparing for the All-Regional Division UIL 6A meet that will take place in Lubbock, Texas on Tuesday, October 24th.
During my Junior year of Cross Country, I made 1st Team All- District UIL 6A, and placed 4th. I then made All-Region Division UIL 6A which is the highest division in Texas, where I placed 10th. Then I qualified for the Texas State UIL 6A Cross Country Invitational. I also ran the Nike South Championship NXR Division where I placed 17th out of 199.
I am committed to my running in every aspect of my life. Academically speaking I work just as hard to make sure that I can compete at the collegiate level that I have dedicated my life to these four years in high school. My tenacity to my sport are proof to my character and yet in contrast my coaches will tell you that I am a coachable athlete. I consider myself a strong leader as well as a team player.
