My name is Reginald Deshawn Robinson, I am 17 years old and attend Jefferson/Silva Medical Magnet High School. I am thankful to my mom for always believing in me and letting me experience different types of activities and sports at a very young age. I began sports at the age of four playing football, basketball, soccer, and running cross country and track. For every single sport, I was always the smallest and still continue to be; yet running never took my physical appearance as a factor. Cross country and track have become my calling because no matter my size, my height or my strength, it all comes down to heart and I have the passion to keep running the best that I can. I want to keep improving, to get faster, to be a runner that my coaches can be proud of. My events in high school are 1600, 3200, 400 and 4x4. I will run what my coaches need me to run; I just want to run.
I am determined to go to college, to get a good education and to run cross country and track; all I need is an opportunity to demonstrate that I am willing to work hard and be a part of a great academic and running program.
