Marco Arevalo '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Marco Tohmas Arevalo and I attend Falfurrias High School. Track and Field has been a passion of mine ever since I first started during my youth. It has showed me a lot of lessons such as, in order to get better at anything in life it has to be done through hard work. Track and Field has taught me many stuff about myself through participating in it for many years. Its taught me that there isn't any shortcuts to getting better, and that it is more than necessary to put in the hard long hours. My Goal is to win a state championship, I came up short my sophomore year coming in 3rd place. My academic goals is to graduate with a 3.5 gpa and to able to take as much knowledge as I can to transfer it to college. The main characteristics that I hold for being the best student athlete I can be are determination, perseverance and the will to not be scared to fail.
