My ultimate goal is to graduate college with a degree. I am currently undecided; however, I am interested in the field of aviation sciences and engineering. Another goal is for me to be the best I can be on the track. When I am on the track, I feel like it is just me competing against myself.
I was recognized at the athletic awards banquet with the Fighting Heart for my strong work ethic and dedication to track. Typically this is an award that a senior receives.
I believe in supporting the team in practice as well as on the track. I know dedication and want is the key to success.
I am willing to work hard to achieve my goals. I know there is adversity in sports and in life. I strive to overcome adversity. I did break my collarbone, but continued to support the football team. The injury gave me the drive to go out and compete in all activities, teaching me that, I have the ability to contend if I am dedicated and work hard enough to achieve my goals.
