I LOVE RUNNING!!! I was a competitive swimmer for 10+ years and then started running a little track in 8th grade. I then competed on high school varsity swimming, running and track for 9/10th grade, but dropped swimming this year so I could focus on only running. I started this past season with a fractured tibia, so cross trained, worked hard on learning everything my body needed and was back running by District. My coach says I was a huge contributor to my team winning 1st in State, 2nd at Nike Regionals, and got the team all the way to Nike Nationals where we placed 19th. I can't wait for the start of the next XC season to see what I can contribute to the team my senior year. I just participated in my Eagle Scout ceremony this past Spring and just got back from attending the Wake Forest XC summer camp. I've really developed a passion for running and am excited to find a college where I can continue to excel in my training.
