Hello,
My name is David Lanxon and I am an upcoming senior, class of 2022. I have been running track since I was 14 years old. I must admit I hesitated at first, but it has become one of my passions. Along with working hard on my athletism, I challenge myself academically by taking AP classes and aim to graduate High School with an associate's degree in science.
Not only do I enjoy running track for Harker Heights High School, but enjoy competing with my AAU track team, United Track Club. I am currently facing a new challenge and developing my skills a hurdler after my coaches felt the event is something I have potential in and I am excited for it. I have also participated in the decathlon this summer to try out some new and see how it felt for me. My main running events are the 400m at 52 seconds last track season and am working to get under 50 this upcoming track season.
I am a hard worker, dedicated, respectful, and love to push and encourage my teammates. I am excited about my future as a college athlete and student.
