Russell Pickney '19 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Russell Pickney Jr and I currently attend College of the Mainland. I will graduate with my associates degree thanks to the COM's Collegiate program. My home campus is La Marque High School which is where I spend my time training and participating in sports. I try to be the hardest working in the room by either adding more weight and reps to my workout, or just staying longer until I feel accomplished for that day. When I am put with a team, I will create competitive bonds with them in an effort to make them work harder then me which in turn makes me push myself harder. Something that makes me different from other athletes is the fact that I have never had special coachs or special training, all I had was barriers that needed to be broken.
