I have set a few goals to achieve throughout my high school and college career. After much thought, I have set several main goals before my senior year, as well as during college. Athletically my first three consist of running under 4:15 for a mile, 9:20 for a 2 mile, and 15:30 for a 5k. Academically my goals are to graduate high school in the top 5 percent of my graduating class on a distinguished level of achievement plan. I also plan on obtaining a STEM/engineering endorsement in addition to my high school plan.
The goals I have set for myself academically during college consist of graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. Athletically I will make a positive contribution to your program by running and leading with perseverance, endurance and determination. Over the course of my track and cross country career I have learned that in addition to talent you must value work ethic and teamwork, have grit and be of strong mental character to achieve greatness. I feel that I possess these qualities and through commitment and sacrifice I will be a good fit for your program.
