My goals as a runner, are not only to improve my times and endurance but to learn along the way. Just running at the high school level my love for running has done nothing but increased. I plan on using the love I have for the sport as motivation to not stop at the college level but to go further in the sport. My ambitions are to become the runner I know I can be with better training so I can stop relying on just the raw talent. With more focused training and the raw talent I know I can be a better and more conditioned runner.
What makes me different from other recruits is living half a country away from my other parents and not living in the best environment. But I had the discipline to keep going and work on my running. The discipline did not focus just on my running but on me as an individual and my character. So I think what makes me a good candidate for any team is that I have discipline, character, and great teamwork to work with others and challenge each other to get better at what we do.
