2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My grandmother once told me that, "Success is no accident." While at the time, I wasn't quite sure what she meant, in the past year, I have come to understand and cherish her wisdom. My high school cross country career has been a stellar example of these words. It has and will continue to be filled with blood, sweat and tears as a result of my hard work and dedication to this sport that I love. I have no doubt that, not if, but when I run in college, these words will come with me, not only making me a better runner, but also a great addition to any team.
