My name is Kaelen Baly and I am a sprinter for Tomball Memorial High School in Tomball, TX. I started running track in 8th grade after I decided to hang up my soccer cleats and I have enjoyed the sport ever since. Even though COVID has cut into my high school track experience, it only renewed my commitment to working hard and being consistent and I have learned the true meaning of being resilient over the past year. My favorite events are the 200m, 400m, and the 4x200 relay. Even though most of my seasons were spent running relays, which impacted my ability to post open times, I have performed strongly at the varsity level every year that I have competed. Last year I was part of the 4x100 and 4x200 teams that set school records, furthermore, the 4x100 team I competed on last year made it all the way to the regional meet. I am proud of how far I’ve progressed so far and each year I’m disciplined to train hard as my love for the sport grows. I see myself continuing to grow in the sport during my college years and being a strong contributor to the team's success.
