I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old and I believe it made me the athlete I am today. Once I got to middle school, I continued to play soccer, along with adding football and track. Even at that age, I could tell that soccer helped me on the football field and the track with my endurance and speed.
I continued playing soccer year-round until I was 16. At that point, I chose to focus on football and track. I've played football since the 7th grade and have 3 years of varsity experience. Being a WR, PR, and KR, I rely on my speed and acceleration. Compared to soccer and football, track has become my go-to sport. Whether it's getting to prove you're faster than the person next to you or the adrenaline you get prior to the race, it is just different than the other two. With football and soccer, you have to depend on other people to do their job to be successful. However, with track, all you have to do to get the gold is your job. My work ethic in high school has gotten me where I am today. Since I was an incoming freshman, I have never missed a day of summer camp. I've opted to not go on family vacations and trips because they interfered with me working to become a better athlete.
As you can tell, my life revolves around sports. With that being said, my other thing to focus on is grades. I have a 3.8 GPA. My work in the classroom is just as important as work on the track.
