My name is Logan Merriman and I am from the class of 2024. This is my first and year participating in high school track. Though I have little experience in track, I have been working many hours outside of practice to better my throws. So far this year I have accomplished a 117ft (power position) discus throw in competition and have thrown 135ft at practice doing the spin technique. I've started hiring my own personal throwing coach as well to better my throws as soon as I can. In my past I have done powerlifting so I am familiar with the explosive power needed for throwing. I have maintained a 3.55 GPA and have take multiple AP classes as well.
