Hi, I am Justin Anderson I am a student at Woodson High School in Fairfax Virginia. I just started running track during the pandemic as a freshman. It was really a game-changer for me since that was my only outlet outside of my family. The best part was that I actually loved it and was told I was pretty good! My main events are the 100, 200, 300, and 400-meter dashes. I'm most proud that I anchored my relay team to break a school record for the 2022-2023 indoor season. I'm interested in going to schools with an Architecture major and programs like environmental studies.
On my team, I am known as the first to get on the track and the last to leave. Outside of track, I am the Service Chair of the organization Jack and Jill of America Northern VA chapter, where I plan all our community service activities. I also am a part of the Sigma Beta Club, an organization of school-aged kids working with the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. These experiences have made me a better leader and someone who is always willing to help out. It has been a dream of mine to compete in track and field at the collegiate level.
Thank you for reading!
