Personal Statement
The thing I love most about running is being competitive. I enjoy working hard and pushing myself so that I can be better than my competition. I've enjoyed running since I was in elementary and it's something I plan to continue doing for the rest of my life. Not only am I competitive, but I am also a leader. I'm someone that sets an example for my teammates to follow. I always make sure my teammates are pushing themselves to be better. Helping other athletes succeed is one of my favorite things. My coach always has me help the newer athletes learn their events. It is a dream of mine to compete at the collegiate level.
