I have participated in many sports along with track and field. However, I have done track and field since elementary school. The
events I competed in were 100,200 and shot put. During AAU track in elementary I qualified for nationals. I was also featured in the book AAU Top Athletes in America.
In middle school I continued to excel at track and field and focused on the 100m, shot put, long jump, high jump and discus.
In middle school I went to nationals during AAU track season for the 100m and high jump.
As a high school freshman I competed at the varsity level in high jump. Sophomore year, my PR was 6’2 in high jump and I qualified for states and was an All Metro Athlete. My junior year I made the All State team placing 5th at States clearing 6’4.
Now that I am in my Senior year, I will be focusing on developing the skills I need to become a better decathlete. My goal is to attend to a D1 school on a full ride track scholarship . What separates me from other athletes is my passion for the sport, my faith and family. I am also very active in my community. I know that my grades and athletic skills will make me a great addition to any school’s team.
