Irelyn Rogan '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Irelyn Kathleen Rogan and I am a sophomore in the Leadership and International Relations Specialty Center at James River High School. As I am a very serious student, I am also a very serious athlete. I have been playing lacrosse for about9 years and it is my greatest passion in life. I am involved in numerous after school activities that I enjoy very much, but lacrosse has to be my favorite. I believe I am a very good candidate for any college team because I am a very well trained goalie and I am willing to push myself to new levels to win games for my team as well as myself. I am a very hard working goalie and I believe that shows in my performance. I also help train all of the younger goalies at my school to help them better themselves and help flourish their love of the game! Academically wise, I take extremely rigorous courses and have a 4.0 GPA while also being in an intense specialty center. Extra curricular wise, besides playing lacrosse, I: volunteer, act and do crew for the Theatre on the James Drama department, sing in the Vocal Ensemble, am the lead singer of my Christian youth band at church, etc! I am also the co-editor of the school newspaper, peer facilitators, FCA, Drama Club, Bible Club, the Tri-M Music Honors Society, the Quill and Scroll Honors Society, and much more. I am a very dedicated athlete, student, and member of society; I believe that I would make a great addition to any college team.
