As a student-athlete, I will be very transparent in saying that I put my academics above everything else. Whether that means having to come to practice a little late due to a college class, I give the highest priority to my academics. That being said, the skills I learned from academics translate to all aspects of my school career. Work ethic, determination, and resilience are all things that I take pride in on both fronts. Moreover, being part of multiple school clubs taught me great time management. When I get to college, I don't just want to be an engineer (aerospace or biomedical to be exact), I want to be an engineer who is also a violinist in the orchestra and an athlete who can go as far as possible with as much guidance as possible.
