Hello, I am Anthony Cadle. I am a student athlete at Strasburg High School in Strasburg, VA. I have many accomplishments in both academics and athletics. I have plenty of aspirations to study and compete at the college level.
As a student I have plenty of accomplishments, I currently have a 3.8 GPA. I have taken multiple honers class in social studies, and I am currently taking physics honors class. This past fall I also took part in the JROTC program at the Massanutten military academy in Woodstock, VA. I also participate in different clubs. I have been the treasurer of the Strasburg student council association for the past 2 years. I am also a member of the Strasburg athletic leadership council. Next year, my senior year, I plan on taking a college class.
As an athlete my freshmen year I made the varsity team in cross country and lettered. Sophomore year I was a captain of the varsity cross country team and lettered. I finished the season with all county and all district honors. I went on to run track in the spring of my sophomore year I lettered and finished with all county and all district honors. I also made my first appearance at the state level running the 3200, I placed 8th with a pr of 10:35 and received my first all state honors. This year my junior year in cross country I was the captain of the team. I lead the team to a county championship our first in five years, a district championship our first in five years, a region runner up, and third place at state. Despite a cold rainy day at states I placed 10th with a pr of 17:20. I received all county, all district, all region and all state honors.
In college I wish to run cross country and run in track. I plan on majoring in physical education and minoring in coaching. I hope to contribute to a team that can win a national title and I am eager to learn more about running at the next level. I am good at time management: I have a part time job at food lion, I find time to study, I'm part of clubs, and I'm successful in my sports. I am a team player: I am always pushing my teammates to do their best during practice, off season work outs, and at races. I am a committed Athlete: I work hard at practice, I am always reading to gain more knowledge in the sport, and I go on extra runs in my free time. I truly love the sport, Thank you
