Hello! My name is Wyatt Shaw. I am a student athlete at Fauquier high school (class of '24) in northern VA! I run track and field, and my main event is the high jump. I have a personal record of 6'8.5" and I also train in long jump, and sprints. I am a competitive athlete with a 3.86 GPA taking all honors classes, and I am still learning everyday whether it is on the track or in the classroom. I strive to do my best in everything I do, and will work my hardest to achieve my goals. I want to go into the Air-Force after college (where I will study aviation), and later on I want to become a commercial pilot for an airline. Track & Field is one of my biggest passions and my biggest dream is to compete at the college level. I qualified for states my last 3 seasons of Track, and in the last 2 I have been state champion. In just one short year I have PR'd by 7.5 inches, and I have much more to give. This last season I competed in New Balance Nationals and placed top 25. Not only do I train to do my best physically by lifting and doing workouts on the track, but I also focus on the mental aspect of training to keep my mind strong. I believe that I am one of the best choices for a college track team and I look forward to talking to coaches in the near future! -Wyatt
